Two weather warnings have been issued by Met Eireann as five counties are set to be battered by winds on Thursday afternoon and evening.
Snow fell across the country overnight, with many parts waking up to icy conditions.
But these warnings both relate to winds instead, with gusts of over 100 km/h set to hit the north and west of the country.
The first warning applies to Galway and Mayo, and comes into place at midday. It'll last until 6pm and reads: "This afternoon and early evening, strong west to northwest winds with gusts of up to 110 km /hr."
The second warning applies to Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo. It comes into affect at 1pm and lasts slightly longer until 8pm.
"This afternoon and evening, very strong west to northwest winds will gust to speeds up to 110 km/hr with significantly higher gusts at times in Co Donegal in the late afternoon and evening, especially in coastal areas," it reads.
However, according to the latest Met Eireann forecast, it's set to improve a bit once the storm passes.
Thursday evening's forecast
"There will be clear spells and scattered showers of rain or sleet. By morning there will just be isolated showers in the northeast and largely dry conditions everywhere else. It will be cold with minimum temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees generally, so frost and ice is possible. Breezy early in the night with fresh and gusty westerly winds but winds will gradually ease light to moderate overnight."
Friday's forecast
"Tomorrow morning will be cold and dry with sunny spells and any frost and ice will clear. It will stay dry and bright in many areas for the day, but cloud will increase in the west and northwest, bringing patches of drizzle. A milder day with afternoon temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, in mostly light to moderate breezes, however fresh to strong southerly winds will develop in the west later."
