Met Eireann has signalled that Ireland is set for a cold and wet month as low pressure systems move across the country.
The forecaster has predicted an unsettled period to arrive next week as low pressure systems track near Ireland in a southwesterly airflow bringing spells of wet weather.
Higher pressure will trend to the south of Ireland, while rainfall amounts will be above average, with highest amounts in the west and northwest.
