Messages of support have flooded in for the family of a "lovely lad" killed in a crash.
Merseyside Police confirmed they are still appealing for information following a fatal crash on Regent Road in Vauxhall yesterday. Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash involving a motorbike and a car at the junction of Boundary Street and Regent Road at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, September 6.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and was treated by members of the public before paramedics arrived at the scene. He was then taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with enquiries. The man who died in the crash has now been named locally as Michael Cheshire with people paying tribute to the dad-of-two.
Tributes have flooded in for the dad and messages of support to his family. Writing on the ECHO's Facebook page, Colette Leatherbarrow said: "Love and thoughts are with his family."
Patricia Kenny added: "R.I.P Michael such a lovely lad thinking of his family taken so young." Christine Paris also said: "Very sad my heart goes out for his poor, poor family may you rest in peace poor lad."
Samantha Nicole said: "So sad rip Michael thoughts are with your family & babas, died doing what you love but far too soon." Nicola Brown said: "Rest in Peace Mick! Thinking of your family and your 2 babies."
Kellie Anne also said: "R.I.P Michael lad, rest easy another person from my year passing away." Marcus Perkins added: "Mick was a boss lad! Rip mate."
Flowers and touching notes stating "I miss you" and "we will never forget you" were left at the scene in the days following his death. An investigation is underway and Merseyside Police is appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist our enquiries.
Sergeant Amy Murray from Merseyside Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "Our thoughts remain with the family of the man who sadly lost his life yesterday evening. I would also like to thank the members of the public who came to the man’s aid after the incident.
"If you were driving towards the junction of Boundary Street and Regent Road at around 6.20pm or were in the area at this time and have any dashcam or CCTV footage, please review it and get in touch if you see anything that may assist our enquiries.
"Any information, however small it may seem, could prove vital as we seek to understand the circumstances of this tragic incident."
"Whether you choose to get information to us directly or anonymously, through Crimestoppers, any information you provide will be acted upon."
