A Merseyside town has been ranked in the top trending seaside places in the UK according to Airbnb.
Formby in the north of Merseyside has been ranked in the top ten trending places to visit this summer. The seaside town has always been popular with daytrippers but looks to be getting the recognition it deserves as the vacation rental company ranks the town sixth in the top ten UK spots.
The trending UK seaside destinations show that people in the UK are opting to spend their summers at seaside resorts up and down the country, soaking up the heatwaves that come with the sunny season on home soil. People seem to be swapping jetting off for the nostalgic pleasures of fish and chips and ice cream vans.
