Gardaí are investigating after a car rammed through the front of a city centre store in Dublin in an attempted theft.
The incident occurred on Henry Street, after a Mercedes crashed in through the front of mobile phone store Three, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It is understood that the vehicle rammed through the front window and shutters, causing thousands of euros worth of damage.

The English registered vehicle reversed through the store at 4am, with An Garda Síochána launching an investigation into the incident.
Authorities cordoned off the front of the store in the early hours of the morning after arriving on scene.
A garda spokesperson said: "“Gardaí are investigating an incident of burglary and criminal damage at a business premises on Henry Street, Dublin 1, Tuesday 4th July 2023. The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning.”
This is not the first ramraiding incident that has occurred in the capital this year.
A similar incident happened on Grafton Street in Dublin city centre at the Hugo Boss store, located between South Anne Street and Chatham.
The store was purposely hit by a vehicle, with a great deal of damage caused to the front of the shop.
