Two men have been arrested on suspicion of making 'threats to kill' after an altercation saw a car veer off a road and into water.
There was a huge emergency services presence beside the water near the Pilsworth Fishery on Thursday afternoon (April 27) after a vehicle had been driven off the road and down a grass verge.
Police said it was reported that an 'altercation' had broken out between passengers in two vehicles before the vehicle careered off Aviation Road, in Heywood.

Two men have now been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, public order and making threats to kill. They remain in custody to be questioned.
Pictures from the scene show huge emergency services presence, including fire crews and officers from Greater Manchester Police. Specialist water incident units were also in attendance.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 1.20pm today police were called to reports that a car was in the water near to Aviation Road, Heywood.
"It is believed that a number of people from two cars became involved in an altercation and one person has been reported to be injured.
"Two men have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, public order and threats to kill and remain in GMP’s custody for questioning."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) added: “Shortly before 1.30pm this afternoon three fire engines from Blackley, Ramsbottom and Bury, the Water Incident Unit from Heywood, and the Technical Response Unit from Leigh were called to attend an incident on Aviation Road in Bury.
“Crews worked alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service at the scene and were in attendance for just over an hour.”
