Melbourne off-road racers Ede Taric, Gerry Hoekstra remembered by family, friends, community

Melbourne

Tributes are continuing to flow for two Melbourne men who died in Rainbow, in north-west Victora, at the weekend.

Fifty-year-old Carrum Downs man Ede Taric was navigating an off-road racing car when it crashed into a tree and burst into flames early on Sunday morning.

The crash also killed 46-year-old driver Gerry Hoekstra, and the Rainbow Desert Enduro was cancelled shortly after.
