Michigan State’s Mel Tucker has made the preseason watch list for the 2022 Dodd Trophy for Coach of the Year.
Tucker is one of 20 coaches to make the preseason list for the upcoming season. Other Big Ten coaches on this list include Wisconsin’s Paul Chryst, Ohio State’s Ryan Day and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh.
Mel Tucker will be entering his third season as the Spartans’ head coach. Last season, he led Michigan State to an 11-2 record that included notable wins over Michigan, Miami (FL) and Pitt in the Peach Bowl.
