Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has launched a luxury advent calendar in her first commercial venture since her move back to the UK this summer.
The product, the latest release under the duchess’s As Ever brand, appears to feature an illustration of her California home.
It includes 24 handcrafted chocolates and will retail for £112 (US$148), or £4.66 per chocolate, according to the Daily Mail.
The inside of the box features the words “a magical celebration of the season”, and adds that the chocolates are there to “sweeten each day”.
It says that it was “thoughtfully inspired” by the garden at the couple’s £11 million mansion in Montecito, where they lived for six years after stepping down from royal duties and leaving the UK in 2020.
The calendar was created in collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes and is a limited edition.
It is set to appear on As Ever’s website for pre-order later on Thursday, with deliveries in November.
To promote the calendar, Meghan posted footage on Instagram of herself driving a golf buggy.
Compartes’ chief executive Jonathan Grahm was seen sitting at her side during the drive.
The story was captioned “Christmas planning in June” and Meghan is seen smiling and saying “hang on” as they drive along a path.
Mr Grahm is heard saying “stay tuned” in the clip.
The footage also shows colour sketches of the Montecito house.
The Sussexes’ labrador Pula also appears in the video, carrying a soft toy in the shape of an As Ever pot of strawberry jam.
Harry and Meghan returned to the UK in late August and the duchess has been spotted spending time with comedian Ellen DeGeneres in the Cotswolds.
Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have been enrolled at a private prep school.
On Wednesday, the couple hit out at international paparazzi who were seen peering into the grounds of the school, labelling their actions “extraordinarily reckless”.
The two young men, who are understood to be photographers from a European press agency, were spotted by both private security and school staff walking the perimeter of Archie and Lilibet’s school, stopping at various points and looking into the grounds.
Earlier this week, As Ever released Meghan’s top hosting tips, which included having “as much prepped as possible before guests arrive”, but also holding back one “simple task for the end”.
