Speaking on the October 7 episode of Royal Exclusive, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield claimed Meghan Markle would never apologise to Prince William and Kate Middleton, rejecting a report that the Duchess of Sussex wanted to do so.

The discussion followed a Daily Express report about a comment from Meghan during her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey alongside Prince Harry. That report cited a source who claimed she wanted to apologise, an account Schofield disputed when Matt Wilkinson raised it on the programme.
