Meghan Markle will 'pursue her passions' after Spotify deal collapse, says expert

Meghan Markle "will be focusing on commercial deals" and has the chance to "pursue her interests" after stepping back from Spotify, according to a PR expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently parted ways with the streaming platform after signing a lucrative $25million (£20million) deal in 2020.

There had been some questions about what the couple would do next, with reports suggesting Meghan is gearing up for a series of lucrative commercial endorsements.

Mayah Riaz, PR to the stars, said this comes as no surprise.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said Meghan's fans could see a return of her popular lifestyle blog as she focuses her career on her passions.

"Readers of Meghan's blog Tig would know that her passions include food, wellness, and fashion.

"So we can expect to see her pursue her interests within these areas, as well as her possibly reviving her previous blog.

"Meghan has also been vocal on feminists issues, so whatever direction she heads towards, it is likely to be with brands and individuals who share the same values as her," Mayah said.

She said Harry and Meghan will "collaborate with brands that they align closely with" as they set out on their own professional paths.

Mayah continued: "There is still a huge appetite for both Meghan and Harry and we will see the two explore further and unique opportunities - individually and as a couple.

Harry is reportedly set to make his grand return to Africa for a new documentary with Netflix.

He's said to be venturing into the project without his wife Meghan Markle, in the next phase of their $98million (£77million) deal with the world-famous streaming service.

Speaking about what we could see next from Harry, Mayah suggested: "Harry has recently been open about therapy and this may be something we see him explore further. As well as a speculated documentary on Africa for Netflix.

"The couple's docuseries gained huge interest with millions watching it. Therefore, it would be a wise move for Netflix to work with the couple again in a different capacity."
