Meghan Markle could face "serious repercussions" over her decision not to attend the Coronation of King Charles III, claims an expert.

The Duchess of Sussex will remain at home in California on May 6, while her husband Prince Harry will return to the UK to witness the historic event in Westminster Abbey.

Meghan will be staying with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with her son celebrating his fourth birthday on the same day as the Coronation.
