Meghan Markle cuddles Princess Lilibet in sweet video during family outing

Meghan Markle and Princess Lilibet were spotted sharing an adorable mother-daughter moment as they watched a Fourth of July parade go by. The pair shared a sweet cuddle as they attended the Independence Day event in California along with Prince Harry and Prince Archie.

The video was shared on social media by a passerby from one of the vehicles taking part of the parade, and the youngster was seen waving flags and participating in the festivities. The Mirror reports in the short clip, Meghan appeared relaxed as she crouched down to embrace Lilibet while they watched the parade together.

Harry also makes a brief appearance, waving to passing vehicles and chatting to the locals. And although their son Archie wasn't seen in the clip, it's assumed he joined his family as they celebrated the occasion together.

Harry and Meghan relocated to America in 2020 after living in Canada for a short time after they moved from the UK. In the past, Harry has celebrated Independence Day even when he was living in Britain and seems to be carrying on the tradition now they've made their home in the US.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Prince Harry in a green shirt and a pair of jeans at the parade. He was seen carrying Lilibet while at the event, with his daughter having worn a patterned blue dress, white socks and a pair of red shoes to mark the occasion.

The parade reportedly featured a selection of vintage vehicles decorated with the iconic American flag as they drove through the streets. It came ahead of King Charles and Queen Camilla's Coronation event in Edinburgh, which Meghan and Harry didn't attend.

The couple - whose official Coronation was held at Westminster Abbey back in May - were honoured at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh last Wednesday.

Charles was presented with the Honours of Scotland in which was referred to as a 'service of thanksgiving and dedication'.

Among those who were in attendance at the coronation ceremony in Edinburgh were the monarch's eldest son and daughter-in-law the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are known to have a tricky relationship with Harry and Meghan.
