It’s that time of year once more: 12 culinary hopefuls are lining up in the tent, firing up the ovens and going head to head for Hollywood handshakes. Yes, The Great British Bake-Off is back.
This year marks the reality baking show’s whopping 14th season on our screens, and once again a fresh cast of baking amateurs go up against each other in their bid to be crowned the ultimate Star Baker. Overseeing them will be judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith – while newbie Alison Hammond will be joining Noel Fielding, as a replacement for Matt Lucas, as the series’ hosts.
