Whether you’re a diehard fan that’s waited years for this variation or just fancy giving a new flavour a try, McVities has finally announced the launch of White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes.
Having recently released its Lemon & Lime flavour just weeks ago, the company has now revealed its new white chocolate-topped packs on Instagram.
However, the biscuit company is releasing just 40 boxes and fans will have to enter the competition to win a box.
The post’s caption read: “The moment you’ve all been dreaming of… we went and made some White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes for you! And YOU can WIN some.
“We’re giving you a chance to WIN 1 of 40 Limited Edition Packs #jaffadreamsdocometrue”.

The treats will still feature their classic orange-flavoured centre, the spongy and fluffy layer of the original and the new white chocolate crackly topping replacing the existing dark chocolate.
To be in with a chance of winning a box, you’ll need to head to @jaffacakesofficial on Instagram, like the competition post and tag the person you’d most like to share a pack of the White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes with – even if you have no intention to actually dish out the snacks.
You have until May 2 to enter and a winner will be selected at random on May 3.
Fans were elated about the news and took to social media to share their excitement.
One simply said: “OMG”.
Another said: “Just seen @McVities are doing white chocolate jaffa cakes and I am thinking hell yes I am gonna eat a lot of them.”
While a fan exclaimed: “I need these in my life!!!!”
McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Brand Manager, Alice Jamieson, said: “The Jaffanatics spoke, and we listened.
“We couldn’t be more excited to launch this competition and offer forty lucky Jaffanatics the chance to see their Jaffa dreams come true and be the first to try our limited-edition White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes.”
The company has not yet revealed whether the new box will eventually become a permanent fixture.
