Calling all fast-food lovers: McDonald's is launching four new items on its menu today, with fresh additions to the breakfast selection and two new burgers - including the coveted McCrispy chicken.
Maccies fans will be able to enjoy mini potato waffles within the breakfast offering for the first time, costing £1.39 for a portion of three which you can order as part of a breakfast meal or separately.
Music to the ears of anyone with a sweet tooth, the much-loved eatery is also releasing a new Twirl McFlurry favour, as reported The Sun. The delicious desert will cost £1.69 for a regular or £1.19 for a mini version.
Eager patrons will be able to get their hands on the new menu items from today, Wednesday October 19, as McDonald's launches its McCrispy chicken burger as a permanent addition to its mains offering.
An old favourite is also set to return, as the BBQ bacon stack burger is making a comeback after being ditched from the menu last summer.
Crafted from two British and Irish beef patties and topped with bacon and pepper jack cheese, the BBQ burger will cost you £6.89 for a large.
The BBQ-based burger may cause controversy, however, as to make room for the new addition, the coveted Big Tasty will be axed at McDonald's.
The Chicken Legend has also been removed from the fast-food tycoon's offering. Customers will be pleased to know that Nacho Cheese Wedges are part of the latest menu overhaul - but these won't arrive until 26 October.
The small nuggets of cheesy goodness will be filled with melted nacho cheese and chunks jalapeno, all to be washed down with a sour cream and chive dip. The wedges will set you back £2.29 for a portion of five, or £5.99 for a sharebox.
Maccies fans should get their orders at the ready as soon as the new menu additions launch, as all of the new items will only be around for the next six weeks - excluding the McCrispy, as that is now a permanent part of the menu.
The crunchy burger is made with 100% chicken breast fillet, which has been marinated in black pepper and cayenne.
It's then topped with McDonald's classic mayonnaise with added cracked black pepper and a savoury roasted chicken flavour to give it a "fancy" and "umami" taste, according to the restaurant.
TV presenter and soon-to-be Love Island host Maya Jama is the face of the new burger, and she's a self-professed fan of Maccies' chicken-based offerings.
The McCrispy will be available for £6.49 as part of an Extra-Value meal.
