McDonald's is treating foodies with the introduction of two new dipping sauces flavours - but they won't be available for long.
The global fast food giant recently shook up its menu by announcing the addition of four new dipping sauces last month. The first two, the Mega Hot Sauce and Garlic Mayo, arrived on menus on May 10.
The latest two - Chipotle Mayo and Creamy Ranch - are due to hit restaurants from tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31, but will only be available while stocks last, reports HullLive.
It comes just as McDonald's is celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of its most beloved menu items - the McNuggets. To celebrate the special occasion, the fast-food giant split the launch of its four new limited-edition dipping sauces into two releases.
McNuggets fans who were lucky enough to get their hands on tickets to McDonald’s #McNuggetWorthy: The Experience will be among the very first to try the new dips before they go on sale nationwide.
The event, which takes place in London on Tuesday, May 30 and Wednesday, May 31, provides fans with the opportunity to immerse themselves in all things McNuggets, from McNugget mini golf to ball pits.
A McDonald's spokesperson said: "What makes someone #McNuggetWorthy? Well, you have your mates. And then you have your #McNuggetWorthy mates. The one’s you’d do absolutely anything for… even share your precious McNuggets. The one’s who’d go to a gig, even if they hate your music taste, who’d tell you if you had lettuce stuck in your teeth, or that mate that’d take you to the Drive-Thru after an eight-hour shift. That’s what makes them truly #McNuggetWorthy"
The new limited edition dipping sauces are not the only new item to hit McDonald's menus recently, after it announced new burgers and returning favourites last month.
Included in the new lineup was a spicy new twist on the iconic Big Spicy - the Spicy Big Tasty Burger. The burger contains one 100% beef patty, as well as Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the brand's much-loved Big Tasty sauce, with a jalapeno twist.
It was joined by returning favourites, such as the classic Big Tasty, Big Tasty with Bacon crispy halloumi fries and the Wispa McFlurry.
