Being handed with a parking fine is probably the last thing most customers expect during a trip to McDonald's. But one customer says he was fined £50 for parking at his local restaurant despite spending the full two hours of his stay eating inside.
The fast food fan said he enjoyed an extended stay at the Midlands restaurant to eat his meal before heading home. But he was shocked when he later received a £50 fine for breaching the parking restrictions.
McDonald's responded to a social media post about the fine by saying limited time parking is in place at most branches in order to ensure there is adequate parking for all of our customers, Leicestershire Live reports.
