McDonald's brings in exciting Christmas breakfast menu - but diners are divided over it

McDonald's has announced it will be altering its breakfast menu with a special festive McMuffin in time for Christmas.

The fast food restaurant is adding the Mighty McMuffin to its menu, which comes with with sausage, egg, bacon and cheese.

Customers can also choose between brown sauce or ketchup on their brekkie as part of the new festive menu until January.

But the change has divided diners with some over the moon at the new breakfast entries and others left unconvinced.

The Mighty McMuffin costs £3.99 on its own, or is £5.59 as part of a meal, reports Manchester Evening News.

It hits the McDonald's menu on Wednesday, alongside several other festive treats.

Maccas fans are already reacting to the news of the Mighty McMuffin being added to the breakfast menu.

Seemingly unimpressed, Jo Bates said: "If you order a normal McMuffin you get the option to add extra bacon, sausage, sauce etc, so this is nothing new."

Alice Laverick appeared thrilled by the new addition, and said "this looks amazing" while Jordon Taylor commented "how creative."

Lee Cowton vouched for the new breakfast bap which is already sold in other countries.

"We’ve had that for years here in Australia. It’s good for hangovers," they said.
