McDonald's Biscoff McFlurry is finally coming to the UK - here's how fans can try it first

McDonald’s has confirmed that the rumours are true - the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry is coming to the UK. It will be in restaurants from next week but the biggest McFlurry fans can try it out first this Friday (June 16).

The flavour, which is available internationally, has long been on the wish list of customers. The limited edition sweet treat will see the caramelized biscuit swirled onto soft serve McFlurry ice cream, giving it a crunchy twist.

The Lotus Biscoff®McFlurry will be on sale for £1.99. A mini version will also be available for £1.49.

The new McFlurry will officially be on the menu from June 21. However McDonald's is holding a special tasting event this Friday (June 16) - but it's in London. If you're in the capital, head to Queen’s Stone, London SE1 9PH between 11.30am and 2pm to try it out.

If you can't make it, McFlurry fans can get buy one get one free on the MyMcDonalds Rewards app from 4pm-5pm every Wednesday until July 5. The offer is only open to existing MyMcDonalds Rewards users who have already ordered over three McFlurry in the past.

Thomas O’Neill, head of marketing for McDonald’s UK and Ireland said: “We’re so pleased to be launching the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry in the UK and Ireland. It’s been a long-time hope to some of our McDonald’s patrons and we’re glad we can make this into a reality.

"We take great pride in what we offer our customers and we really do listen to what they want; spending time researching and developing all the possibilities. It’s what we enjoy and it’s why I am personally proud of this new menu."
