Mayors call for Manchester City vs Liverpool FA Cup semi-final to be moved from London over travel chaos

The mayors of Greater Manchester and Liverpool have called for next month’s FA Cup semif-final between Manchester City and Liverpool to be moved from Wembley because of the travel chaos facing fans.

Engineering works scheduled for the weekend of April 16-17 mean there are no trains running between London and either Manchester or Merseyside.
