Love Island host Maya Jama has confirmed she suffered a scratch to her shoulder as a result of dancing in a sparkly dress at The Brits. Maya, who was born in Bristol, took to Twitter to share the cause of the graze after an eagle-eyed Love Island fan spotted the mark during tonight's show.
The host stunned fans in a striking red dress as she presented the ITV show which saw islanders face the long-awaited Casa Amor recoupling. The silky cut-out dress revealed the star's toned abs and also her shoulders.
Viewers caught a glimpse of a mark on on Maya's shoulder, prompting one fan to ask if she had caught it 'with straighteners'. A Twitter user asked Maya: "[Maya Jama] did you catch your shoulder with the hair straighteners!! [Love Island]."
