With less than a week to go until a balmy new series of Love Island lands on our screens, fans are gearing up for a summer of love. Ahead of series ten airing, ITV has announced the series ten line-up, revealing the ten names that will be entering the Mallorca villa on Monday night (June 5), with Bristolian bombshell Maya Jama primed to host her first summer series.
Series ten is the second Love Island series to air this year following the ITV2 reality show's second winter series heating up our gloomy evenings from January to March. Maya was thrilled to declare Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan the winners of series nine, with the couple jetting back to the UK with £50,000.
Maya made a surprise appearance on Good Morning Britain yesterday (May 29) to prepare viewers for an exciting twist in this year's summer series. Stunning viewers in a ruffled orange crop top, Maya revealed the huge news to Love Island superfan Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins as she appeared via video link from Mallorca, with a heart-shaped pillow of Ed.

"A very big surprise, the public has all the power," Maya told viewers. "So, for the first episode, you guys are going to decide who couples up, you vote, and then we listen.
"It's a big decision to make, as soon as you see them."
Love Island announced the series ten cast throughout the day yesterday, so viewers can get a feel for who they're voting for before making a decision. Voting, which will be free on the Love Island app, will open on Thursday, June 1, at 8am, and close at 9pm on Friday evening, June 2.
So far, no Westcountry faces have been announced for series ten, although, of course, Maya will be representing Bristol this summer as she returns for her second series of Love Island after filling Laura Whitmore's shoes earlier this year. Amongst the initial line-up is Aesthetics Practitioner Jess, "French Fancie" Mehdi, and model Ella, who met Brad Pitt whilst appearing as an extra in World War Z when she was 12.
Love Island starts Monday 5th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
