Maya Jama said life is "too short" as she candidly discussed her splits from famous exes. Maya, from Bristol, opened up in a chat with a fan on Instagram.
The 28-year-old Love Island host shared the exchange on her stories so that all her fans could see the advice. The fan had messaged her directly, asking: "I've always admired you! And how you pick up the pieces and move on and upward, I just woke up from an anxiety attack. My ex dumped me Thursday, commitment issues but I'm so scared and just want to know how you do it?"
As reported by the Daily Star, Maya replied explaining that "life's too short" to be in "situations" that "don't make you feel good inside". She also advised the fan to "see it as a blessing" that their partner is no longer in their life.

Maya said: "Sending all the love. I've always felt life is way too short to spend in situations that don't make you feel good inside, there's power in choosing yourself.
"As soon as you realise you are more than enough with or without someone it becomes simpler. Also try to see it as a blessing they removed themselves from your life now there's room for someone who appreciates you and don't accept anyone who doesn't."
The advice comes after Maya broke up with ex-fiancée Ben Simmons last September. The pair had a "difficult time" trying to manage their conflicting schedules.
A source told The Sun : "It’s been a difficult time for them. While they both care for each other so much, they truly gave it their all and realise that they just come from two different worlds.
"They had no idea the challenges they would face when handling all the logistics of making a life together in two countries."
