Author and ex-fiancée of Liam Payne, Maya Henry, has reportedly begun taking legal action against the artist, accusing the former One Direction member of repeatedly contacting her, her friends and her mother Azteca Henry, The Sun reports.
In a statement, a spokesperson shared Henry “issued a cease and desist last week” to the LP1 singer “following the emergence of new and concerning information.”
“She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter,” the spokesperson said.
The pair were reportedly together from 2018 up until 2022.
Last week, Henry took to TikTok and accused her former flame of contacting her on multiple phone numbers and iCloud accounts. The accusation came after she claimed Zayn Malik was the One Direction member who allegedly threw Payne “up a wall”.
“Ever since we broke up he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone number — it’s always from different phone numbers,” Henry shared in her video.
“He does this when he gets his phone taken away. Also, not only me, but he’ll blow up my mum’s phone.”
Elsewhere in her TikTok, the author also accused Payne of weaponising his fan base and going to his former bandmates’ concerts despite talking badly behind their back.
“Also, talking shit about your bandmates and showing up to their concerts. But it’s always for your own benefit it’s not even because you wanna go support,” she spilled.
“You wanna go stand up there and take the attention away from anyone.”
As of writing, Payne has not addressed the claims made in Henry’s TikTok nor her claims that Zayn Malik was the person who “threw him up a wall”.
