EA Sports announced that the Champions Edition for F1 24 is going to be none other than reigning World Champion and EA SPORTS Ambassador Max Verstappen. This is actually the second time that Verstappen has been on the cover. He was also on the cover of last year's Champions Edition.
Since being features on the Champions Edition last year, Max has been able to get 17 wins from a total of 19 races. In addition, he has had a strong start with the 2024 season especially with wins in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. As the competition heads to China, he's already at the top of the World Drivers Championship.
By being on the cover of the new Champions Edition, EA Sports reveals in a post that it celebrates Verstappen's success. In fact, he is pictured after his race win at FORMULA 1 AWS GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2023. It was where he took Pole Position in Qualifying, the fastest lap, and the race win.
Pre-Order
Those who pre-order the digital-exclusive Champions Edition by May 1 can get up to three days of early access. Which means they can play the game beginning May 28. During early access, they can also get access to Special Events that come with unlockable rewards.
Other goodies offered to those who pre-order are:

That's not all that's being offered. Those who pre-order by April 24 get to be the first players to experience 2024 liveries that include the McLaren, Williams, Alpine, & Haas. Then there's the McLaren & Alpine F1 esports liveries that's immediately accessible in Time Trial in F1 23.
Those who pre-order can also unlock the McLaren & Alpine F1 esports liveries in F1® 24 once the game launches. Players can also get a second set of 2024 liveries which arrives on the grid in F1 23 after April 24.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition cover of F1 24 is set to be available in both physical and digital versions. It features three of the most recognizable faces on the grid which are Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, and fellow Brit Lando Norris. The cover is the first time since 2018 where the drivers and their cars are being featured. Fans of Formula 1 should be able to appreciate the striking design.
Those who pre-order the Standard Edition get to receive 5,000 PitCoin and an F1 World Starter Pack.
EA Sports F1 24 is launching worldwide and to be available for the PC and consoles PlayStation and Xbox.
