Square Enix announced that Life is Strange: Double Exposure is coming out on October 29. This is the newest title in the critically acclaimed narrative adventure series. It's planned to be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the PC. A version for the Nintendo Switch is also being planned for release at a later date.
The upcoming game sees the return of Max Caulfield. This time she's a photographer-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University. She discovers her closest new friend Safi dead in the snow and apparently murdered. To save her friend, she's tries Rewind Time, a power she hasn't used in years. However, instead of going to the past, she instead goes to a parallel timeline. While Safi is still alive in this reality, it seems that she's still in danger. Max realizes that the killer is going to strike soon and in both versions. Being able to shift between the two parallel timelines, Max needs to solve and prevent the same murder.
More details of this upcoming game are set to be disclosed during the Reveal Livestream which is on July 13 at 12:00p.m. (ET). There's going to be some behind-the-scenes look into what went on in creating this adventure. Fans can also look forward to getting an exclusive look at the gameplay. Life is Strange: Double Exposure is going to be available in three editions, which are Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition can get Advanced Access to Chapters 1 and 2 on October 15, which is two weeks ahead of the release of the full game.
