Mauricio Pochettino has been active on social media amid links with the vacant manager job at Chelsea. The former Tottenham boss is closing in on becoming the third permanent head coach of the club under Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital.
He has held positive talks with the club and is still expected to replace Frank Lampard at the end of the season. Given the interim boss' position and the lack of jeopardy left in the campaign there is no immediate rush.
Although the prospect of Real Madrid swooping in for his services linger in the background it is Chelsea that are in near exclusive talks with the Argentine. As he conducts negotiations himself and on behalf of his quartet of close backroom staff, things are being taken slowly.

Chelsea wish to complete their thorough and exhaustive process which has already seen Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique leave the race to become boss, meanwhile Pochettino himself searches for assurances. With Boehly and Co meeting in LA over the weekend for crucial talks regarding the 51-year-old he has played it cool on Instagram.
In an image posted to his story, Pochettino posted a snap of him out walking his Rhodesian ridgeback puppy, Sana Mandela. The dog has its own Instagram page and the image of the ex-Paris Saint-Germain boss out on the beach included the message: "Morning walk [sunshine emoji] with Sansa. [red heart emoji]."
Although it is not clear where in the world the image is taken, Pochettino is on the beach and walking near the sea. It comes as Fabrizio Romano reports that talks were held in Spain's own seaside city Barcelona with Pochettino. It isn't certain whether he is in the city in the picture taken but, as former Espanyol manager, he has been known to spend time there.
Pochettino had posted an update in March informing followers that he was returning home after a trip to Japan with his family. That coincided with Tottenham sacking Antonio Conte, stirring thoughts of a potential return to north London.
His latest whereabouts are now having a similar impact with Chelsea fans keen to have their newest head coach confirmed.
