Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to remain manager of Paris Saint-Germain, despite speculation linking him with the vacant Manchester United job.
The former Tottenham boss is facing intense scrutiny following PSG’s Champions League capitulation at the hands of Real Madrid earlier this week. The 3-1 defeat at the Bernabeu saw the French giants fail in Europe yet again, despite the arrivals of players like Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG sporting director Leonardo refused to go further than confirming Pochettino would remain in his post until the end of the season. "Pochettino is still part of the project for this season. It’s not the time to think about that,” the Brazilian explained following the loss in the Spanish capital.
