Outside linebacker Matthew Judon will reportedly get a chance to push for the playoffs this season, and he doesn’t sound too upset about it.
The New England Patriots reportedly sent Judon to the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday night in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick, ending the pass-rusher’s tenure as a Patriot after three seasons.
The Falcons badly needed Judon on their roster, and the Patriots probably will do well to have extra draft capital next spring as they continue a roster rebuild.
As for Judon, he’ll get the chance to play with a Falcons team that will contend in the NFC South this season and potentially lock in one of the NFC’s guaranteed playoff spots.
After news broke of his trade, he immediately reacted on Instagram with a very fun hint of what’s to come for his career.
