Matt Zukowski On What He Really Thinks Of Tammy Hembrow & Bailey Smith’s Relationship

In relationship tea that’ll never stop boiling, Matthew Zukowski has continued to spill on his whirlwind marriage and divorce with Tammy Hembrow. This time, the islander-turned-celebrity-campmate opened up about his ex’s headline popping romance with Bailey Smith.

Months after Zukowski and Hembrow confirmed their divorce, Hembrow made headlines after she was papped hanging out with AFL Star Smith.

Things then took a romantic turn when Hembrow and Smith seemingly soft-launched each other with a flirty Instagram Story of a dinner date.

Since then, the pair have confirmed they’re “just mates”, with Hembrow becoming an ambassador for Tinder alongside Smith, fuelling rumours that their whole cheeky romance was a PR stunt for the dating app.

Although the blonde duo have established their connection is purely platonic, Zukowski admitted that seeing images of Smith and Hembrow together felt like a “knife” to his chest. However, the feeling didn’t come from a place of jealousy.

“No, I don’t think jealousy is the right word,” Zukowski told Kyle Sandilands when he was asked if he was jealous of Hembrow and Smith’s paparazzi pics on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

“I mean, I openly said that I was a bit like, ‘Oh, wow’. Because it was quite soon after and I was doing my own healing process, and I saw that and I was like, ‘Oh, okay’.

“No one likes to see the person they used to love and marry hooking up with someone else. Like, that’s a knife to anyone’s chest, man.”

In the same radio chat, Zukowski revealed he hadn’t spoken to his ex-wife since they publicly announced they were getting a divorce.

“I haven’t spoken to her since we announced we were divorced. So, no contact at all,” Zukowski added.

Zukowski’s recent tea spill comes shortly after he dished on his polarising marriage on this year’s season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Speaking to his fellow campmates, the former Love Island Australia star revealed that he thought getting married would solve their relationship problems.

“I was very much convinced things would get better once we were married and things would change, but it actually got a lot worse,” he said.

“I did love my ex-wife, and I did it out of hope that we could work on things and make it work.”

He also shared that he cannot have kids, admitting that he “shoots blanks”, and that he and Hembrow had discussed IVF before they ultimately got a divorce. But, in truly spicy tea, Zukowski claimed he and Hembrow were only married for three months rather than seven.

Although Hembrow hasn’t responded to any of her ex-husband’s recent comments on the demise of their relationship, she recently said she was removing tattoos connected to Zukowski, which include their wedding date and his initials.

But, in my chronically online bones, I feel like a cheeky repost or indirect post is on its way… only time will tell.
