In-demand Matt O'Riley has insisted he is only concentrating on Celtic and has set his sights on impressing in the Champions League amid mounting speculation over his future.
The Denmark Under-21 midfielder has been an impressive addition for Ange Postecoglou since joining from MK Dons in January for a bargain £1.5million and just seven months on, he's already being mooted for a move back down south. Brendan Rodgers ' Leicester City were credited with an interest earlier this summer, with reports suggesting Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are all weighing up moves late in the window.
However, the 21-year-old has doubled down on his commitment to Celtic as he looks forward to a blockbuster European campaign, with the Hoops drawn in a group alongside Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk. When asked about transfer interest by Danish outlet Bold, he said: “Yes, there are some clubs who have inquired about me. I can’t say which clubs, though.
"But while it’s great to know there’s a lot of interest in me, I’ve only got one thing on my mind and that’s to do well for Celtic. I have no plans to leave Celtic, so if nothing happens, nothing happens, and that’s fine.
"I’m really happy to be at the club where we’re also going to play the Champions League, which I’m really looking forward to. It’s huge. I am aware and have heard about the interest from some of the big clubs, but I must admit that it is not something that I think about so much.”
