Matt Hancock is set to be a shock late arrival on I'm A Celebrity, after ITV bosses pulled off a 'sensational signing' for the new series.
The latest run of I'm A Celebrity will get going on Sunday, November 6, with the I'm A Celebrity line-up officially confirmed on Monday evening and featuring the likes of Boy George, reported to be receiving a £500,000 fee; England Lionesses hero Jill Scott and member of the Royal Family, Mike Tindall.
Others heading into camp this time round include soap stars Sue Cleaver and Owen Warner and Loose Women host Charlene White and now it'd being reported that former Health secretary Hancock is flying out to Australia to join them. An insider told The Sun : 'Matt is a sensational signing for the show as producers love a star with a story to tell - and they always hope they'll spill the beans round the campfire."

The source added: "He's the latest in a long line of figures from the political sphere, including MP Nadine Dorries, Stanley Johnson and MP Lembit Opik."
While Hancock's involvement has yet to be confirmed, fans have been 'convinced' a 12th campmate would be involved at some point, having been left puzzled by the fact there were only 11 stars on the full line-up.
As rumours swirl that Hancock, who quit his role after damning footage showed him cheating on his wife in Downing Street offices during the pandemic, will go into 'm A Celebrity, he's also been linked to another gruelling TV show, Channel 5's Celebrity SAS who Dares Wins.
