But for Massachusetts mother Ali Hanlon (@ali.hanlon0), a routine trip to Stop & Shop allegedly ended in a comical clash with a 17-year-old cashier.
In a TikTok storytime, Hanlon held nothing back as she detailed an awkward interaction with a teenage cashier. According to her, the interaction began as a mildly irritating lack of basic customer service manners. But it didn’t take much time before dissolving into pure comedy for her. At the end, a single piece of sweet potato brought the transaction to a screeching halt.
