Chelsea star Mason Mount has admitted that uncertainty over the club’s ownership is a ‘concern’ for the whole squad. The Blues are currently up for sale, with Roman Abramovich having come to his decision on March 2. The UK Government then imposed sanctions on him eight days later.

Having only known the relative stability of the Abramovich era throughout his development in west London, Mount has admitted that the unpredictable nature of the takeover process is somewhat daunting.
Speaking after England ’s 2-1 victory over Switzerland at Wembley Stadium, the midfielder said: "I’ve been at the club since I was six-years-old and something like this has not happened before, so it can be a concern. At the beginning, and even now, we don’t really know where it’s going and what’s happening the next day.
