The Masked Singer fans feel they are not absolutely certain who is beneath the Panda costume – as they think the contestant accidentally said their name on the show.
Some viewers are convinced they heard the contestant mention the last name “Imbruglia” – cementing speculation for many that this is proof the star behind the mask is none other than Neighbours legend Natalie.
The 47-year-old Australian actress and singer has been a hot favourite as the celebrity hiding in the animal costume and fans are convinced she let the cat out of the bag herself during Saturday night’s show.
Fans think Panda mentioned their last name in VT that was shared after they performed Robyn’s hit single Dancing On My Own during the semi-final.
Taking to Reddit to debate theories, one viewer wrote: “The VT for Panda, she said her surname, which further proves it’s Natalie Imbruglia, plus that singing voice was unmistakably her."
A second fan suggested: "I'm still going for Natalie Imbruglia for Panda."
Another viewer agreed, writing: “Deffo. Unmistakably her voice singing tonight. Plus she said her surname in the VT.”
But other forensic Masked Singer fans were less convinced, with one writing: "I have to rewatch it again. I didn't hear Imbruglia at all".
Irrespective of the fan speculation, the bookies have marked Panda as the favourite to win the show – and have suggested for weeks that Natalie could be the celeb beneath the adorable outfit.
Coral's John Hill said in a statement two weeks age: "There is little doubt that the Panda is a professional singer. It has not missed a note so far on the series and it is the clear favourite to prevail now the Poodle is out.
"Natalie Imbruglia remains the favourite to be behind the mask, however, Alesha Dixon's odds have been slashed following last weekend's show.”
Meanwhile, some fans have become convinced that Amanda Holden could be the star beneath the Panda outfit.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge herself added fuel to speculation last week when she was spotted out and about with what looked like a panda costume in the boot of her car.
A string of other clues have also been teased by the show judges and fans of the show.
Several weeks ago, the Masked Singer judges were debating if Panda could be an actress, naming some Hollywood icons.
Panda then threw the cat among the pigeons when she admitted: "I'm not old fashioned, I'm thoroughly modern."
Jonathan Ross worked out that Amanda had played Throughly Modern Millie in the West End.
Mo Gilligan joked that he had already plumped for Amanda, but Jonathan clapped back that he didn't just "rhyme Amanda with Panda" - he 'actually worked out a clue'.
Panda also said: "Things We Do For Love!?", with one eagle-eyed fan pointing out that Amanda started out in showbiz on dating show Blind Date.
The Masked Singer concludes on ITV on Saturday at 7pm.
