Mary Byrne has updated her fans following her involvement in a horror crash.
The Ballyfermot native is currently touring in the UK as part of 'Menopause the Musical 2.' Mary was travelling in the production's tour bus when it collided with a lorry, which resulted in the singer being rushed to hospital.
Mary took to Facebook to reassure people that she was doing well following the incident. She thanked fans for all their messages and confimed that she would be taking some time out to recover.

She wrote: "Thank you so much everyone for all the texts and message and well wishes. I’m recovering and just thanking God that we all walked away. I'm going to take a little time out and then look forward to getting back to the amazing tour of Menopause the Musical 2."
The 63-year-old previously told the Irish Sun that the front of the bus was wrecked following the collision, which occurred when a deer ran out in front of traffic. Several of the planned performances for the production have been rescheduled for the end of April due to the incident.
