While fans on social media had mixed reactions to the new nickname bestowed upon Marvin Harrison Jr. by Gus Johnson during Fox Sports telecast on Saturday, the Ohio State wideout thought it was “great.”
The star wideout, who feels he gets a nickname nearly “every week,” was in favor of Johnson's new entry of ”Maserati Marv."
"It’s great. Who came up that one?" Harrison asked reporters.
He wasn't shocked to hear it came from Johnson, one of the best sports announcers in the business.
"Of course, of course. [Johnson] is awesome," added Harrison.
The son of Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison put on a performance worthy of the comparison to the Italian luxury sports car brand on Saturday.
