Ever since the team made the horrendous decision to trade away superstar wideout A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee has resorted back to wide receiver purgatory, where it seems nothing they try works.
This has led to many heated debates within the fanbase because everyone has their own opinion as to how the Titans can once again fix the position that only took over 15 years to figure out in the first place.
Putting his two cents in, Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus recently wrote an article discussing one future prospect each AFC team should be keeping an eye on, and he has arguably the greatest wide receiver prospect since Calvin Johnson as someone who should be on the Titans’ radar in 2024.

Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is a phenomenal talent whose lethal blend of size, speed and intangibles should allow him to be a star in the NFL the second he arrives.
Here is what Wasserman had to say about the potential future marriage between Harrison and the Titans:
The Titans have several problem areas on their team including cornerback and offensive line. They’ve already allocated resources to those two areas this offseason, so we’ll see how that plays out. They did not, however, make a significant addition to their receiving corps. Currently, their primary options are 2022 rookies Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips along with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. None of those guys cracked 40 catches or 500 yards last season and the unit as a whole was among the lowest-graded in the NFL.
Tennessee always finds a way to be competitive, but if things finally crater offensively, they could be in line to take Marvin Harrison Jr… Simply put, Harrison Jr. may have similar talent to his Hall of Fame father.
He led all qualified receivers in 2022 with a 90.2 overall grade. His 1,263 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 61 first downs were all top-ten marks at the position. His route running, hands, and body control are impeccable. He is the next great NFL wide receiver.
At the end of the day, there is no such thing as the sure thing, but this may be as close as you can get. Harrison epitomizes everything it means to be a generational talent at the wide receiver position.

Should the Titans be fortunate enough to somehow land the Buckeyes star next year, a Harrison and Treylon Burks pairing would immediately become one of the more intriguing young tandems in the league.
I don’t have much faith in anybody else in the WR room (for now), but I fully believe Treylon Burks is about to go bonkers in year 2 as long as he stays on the field#Titans pic.twitter.com/7vcTBenzBU

Unfortunately, the only way to realistically acquire the young phenom is to go through a miserable season that subsequently leads to a top-five pick in the draft.
Should that be the case, at least there could be a worthy prize for Tennessee at the end of the tunnel in the form of a potential savior at arguably the team’s biggest position of need.
