Insomniac’s wildly popular web-slinging adventures will not be PlayStation exclusives much longer.
During State of Play June 2022 on Thursday, Sony announced that Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release on PC. Nixxes, a studio with loads of great ports under its belt, is handling the transition to PC.
“I am extremely pleased with our collaboration with Insomniac on the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, the shared support provided between our teams and their dedication to quality above all is inspiring,” Jurjen Katsman, Nixxes senior director of development, said via the PlayStation Blog. “It allows our team to leverage our technical expertise and focus on creating the best possible PC experience that takes advantage of all the exciting possibilities the PC platform has to offer.”

Spider-Man Remastered will release for PC on Aug. 12, 2022. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come out on PC sometime this fall.
Sony also stated that both games have sold more than 33 million copies globally as of May 15, 2022. Turns out people like Spider-Man. What a shocker!
Lots of PlayStation first-party titles are PC-bound these days. God of War was fantastic on the platform, so hopefully, Marvel’s Spider-Man fairs similarly.
