The complete roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 9 has been shared by the developer, outlining all the major content arriving over the coming weeks. The season introduces Jubilee as the newest playable hero, a brand-new map, multiple limited-time events, fresh cosmetics, a PvE mode, major Team-Up changes, and a Black Widow rework before Season 9.5.

Jubilee makes a stylish entry with fireworks
The biggest addition in Season 9 is Jubilee, who joins the ever-growing Marvel Rivals roster when the season launches on July 10. She joins the first update alongside several gameplay changes, including a Team-Up Ability overhaul and a Black Widow character rework.
Players can also pick up the new The Faith-Harvesting Engine Battle Pass and the Shogo Tote accessory at launch.
New Thebes map and long-awaited Avengers PvE mode
Season 9 expands with both a new PvP battleground and a fresh PvE experience. The Thebes map arrives on July 24, bringing a brand new arena inspired by ancient Egypt, which complements the battle pass directly.
A week later, on July 31, players can jump into Path to Doomsday-Avengers: Age of Ultron, the latest PvE mode that continues Marvel Rivals‘ growing collection of game modes.
New Season 9 events
Season 9 features two limited-time events spread throughout the update.
Death of Apocalypse launches on July 10, alongside The Resurrection of the Horsemen, continuing the season’s overarching Apocalypse storyline. On July 17, players can participate in Van Dyne Couture, another themed event featuring exclusive rewards. The Marvel Rivals Ignite Series Mid-Season Finals will also take place on July 31.

The roadmap confirms that Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 launches on August 7, although NetEase has yet to reveal its contents, the trailer showed that The Hood will join the roster soon. There should be more announcements expected closer to release.
