Celtic's backroom staff conundrum has taken another twist ahead of the new season.
Martin O'Neill is officially the new manager on a permanent basis having been interim last term and his success earned him a crack at the gig full-time.
But questions have arisen in the past few weeks regarding the Northern Irishman's staff and who will be in the dugout alongside the 74-year-old for the Scottish Premiership curtain raiser.
Mark Fotheringham and Shaun Maloney have reportedly been told to take pay cuts to retain their roles from last season despite playing a massive part in rescuing the club's season and winning a domestic Double.
It had also been claimed that former midfielder Efrain Juarez was in the mix for a position at Parkhead as a possible assistant to O'Neill. However that suggestion is now in the mud with the 38-year-old accepting a different role in Hungary.
Juarez was officially unveiled as the new head coach of Hungarian champions ETO FC Gyori.
The title winners saw off Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros to secure the silverware last season but had been on the lookout for a new boss. And Juarez - most recently at Pumas - was quick to make the decision to move to his new club.
It means Celtic will have work to do to put together their backroom staff before European qualifiers this coming campaign.
And that could become an especially speedy demand with Gavin Strahcna potentially leaving Glasgow for West Brom.
