Martin Lewis' word of warning to anyone putting the heating on as temperatures plummet

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has issued some important words of advice to anybody looking to turn the heating on as temperatures in the UK plummet. The weather is extremely cold at the moment, and snow has been forecast for some areas of the UK.

With that in mind, millions of Brits will be looking to turn the heating on - despite the cost of living crisis making it a financial worry for many of us. Now Martin Lewis has offered some advice on when you should turn the heating on, and how long for, in order to keep your bills as low as possible.

Many people think it's cheaper to leave your heating on a low level all day, rather than turning it on and off. Others say you should only turn it on when you need it.
