Martin Lewis wants shoppers to head to their local supermarket before Christmas and make the most of their cheap vegetables.
In the run-up to the big day, most major stores will be slashing their prices right down to 15p in a bid to make Christmas dinner more affordable for everyone during the cost of living crisis.
Although it may be tempting to buy all your ingredients well in advance, the finance guru advised to hold off on buying veg until the supermarkets drop their prices - some of which have already started to do so.
