Households with an annual income of under £40,000 are being urged to check whether they are eligible for a financial boost.
Martin Lewis explained than families could be missing out on money they are entitled to from Universal Credit. Households can check whether they are eligible in a few simple steps, with the financial guru advising that people can use a benefit calculated to help identify any payments available.
The Money Saving Expert gave evidence to the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) sub-committee on Online Harms and Disinformation and explained that while not every household under the £40,000 are entitled, there are many currently missing out.
