Martin Lewis has issued advice to help prepayment meter customers save a bit of cash on their bills.
It comes as the price cap will change dramatically from Saturday. Bills will drop by 17 per cent on average but will depend on how much electricity you use.
However, if you're on an electricity-only traditional prepayment meter, you could start saving money as soon as possible with one simple trick, according to the money-saving expert. Customers will have to be strategic about when they top-up their meter this weekend in order to make the most savings.
