Martin Lewis has revealed an incredible weight loss hack - and fans can't get enough of it. The financial guru often shares tips with the public on how to save money, however, his latest advice has seen him reveal a current "obsession" of his, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Taking to his blog on MoneySavingExpert, the 50-year-old shared his best tips for shedding unnecessary pounds. He said: "Welcome to my seventh annual steps blog, written as a permanent record for me, and because I know many people who've read past versions have taken up and enjoyed their own step challenges".
Martin said he averaged a mammoth 24,630 steps per day in 2022. He says he did this by walking whenever possible, for example, while talking on the phone, getting to the ITV studio, and even on Google meets.

He added: "If I can't get outside to walk, then I either walk around and around my office, or go downstairs and walk on the treadmill. In fact, it's now instinctive that if the phone rings and I'm sitting down, I jump up before I answer it, even if it's a friend in the evening, I just jump up from my seat and start walking around the room."
As well as improving his mental health, Martin said that racking up all those steps made him "substantial lighter" - insisting it's one of the best ways to lose weight. Tweeting out the link to the MSE article, he continued: "I averaged 24,630 steps a day (burning 3,886 calories) in 2022 - here's how..."
And it seems fans were equally as impressed by the initiative, with man claiming to lose two stone by walking. He said: "Like you, I prefer being stood up and moving around when on the phone. I found myself feeling unhealthy last summer. Dropped booze, walked at least 4.5 miles a day and minimised carb intake. Lost two stone (13 to 11) in about 12 weeks. Felt much better."
Echoing their comments, someone else said: "Good on you. I aim for 10k each day but also ensure I do 50 minutes of gym each lunchtime. I've lost over 10 kg in the last year. It's done wonders for my mental health". While a third added: "Brilliant. I need to try this! Great advice as always."
