Money saving expert Martin Lewis, hosted a special holiday edition of his Money Show Live this week, sharing easy hacks to help jet-setters this summer.
A useful tip for those booking travel and accommodation separately which could help save a good few pennies using his 'rebook' trick.
Martin explained that if your hotel is cheaper now than when you booked and you’ve got free cancellation - that’s the crucial bit - all you have to do is cancel your existing booking and make a new one. He told ITV viewers: “That means if you’ve got a hotel with free cancellation, you should regularly be checking the comparison sites for the prices. It’s as simple as that.”
