Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis left fans speechless after sharing a throwback video of him and his celebrity wife. The ITV finance guru posted the throwback clip on his own Twitter account - featuring an advert he did with now-wife Lara Lewington
He has complained a lot in the past about people falsely using his face to advertise things, but this is one advert he did consent to appear in. And the personal finance guru admitted he now regrets his role in the campaign.
Posting the video on Twitter, he wrote: "I can’t believe we did this film. Here’s me and my then fiancé (now wife) @LaraLewington talking mobile haggling back in 2007."

The video was captioned: "Blast from the past...mobile haggling with my (now) wife in 2007. Products and prices have changed (as much as my look & delivery), but the basic premise still works."
Fans were clearly entertained by the clip, as one person replied: "Fair play to having the bottle to show it." Somebody else joked: "Watched the first 5 seconds with the sound off and thought I was watching babestation."
Another Money Saving Expert fan responded: "Punching way above your weight Martin!!!"
"Like an EastEnders scene but recent," said somebody else.
Martin has been married to wife Lara since 2009. But as well as being 'Mrs Money Saving Expert', Lara has a star-studded career of her own.
Having spent six years at Channel Five as a weather presenter and showbiz correspondent, Lara featured in a weekly sketch on ITV1's The Impressionable Jon Culshaw.
She was a panelist on ITV1's Win, Lose or Draw and has made appearance on Newsnight, Big Brother's Big Mouth, The Weakest Link and BBC's Let's Dance for Sports Relief.
Lara currently co-presents BBC's Click, a popular weekly technology news show, with Spencer Kelly and is a Women's magazine columnist.
