Martin Lewis has urged anyone earning below £60,000 to do a quick 10 minute check.
The finance guru explained in the Money Saving Expert newsletter that £19bn worth of benefits went unclaimed each year. The consumer champion said millions could be entitled to extra support with people earning up £60,000 eligible.
He urged people to check if they can claim help from the Government. The 51-year-old said: "We've long urged you to check to make sure you get all the benefits you're entitled to, knowing millions were due a share of billions. - as Mirror Online reports.
